KU DING TEA

Ku Ding Tea or "Bitter Nail Tea" is a taste experience like no other. Made from the Wax Leaf Hawthorn Shrub, the leaves are tightly rolled into long "nails". The strong bitter liquor is an acquired taste, but its uses for cooling the body off in hot weather or with fever, supporting weight loss and healthy cholesterol levels make it a popular staple. In areas of Southern China, it is enjoyed along with the traditional spicy and oily cuisine to balance the experience.
