Safely holds moxa cones, with adjustable vent for temperature control.
The Jin Young Gam Moxa Cauterant consists of a ceramic well to safely hold cone moxa and conduct heat, a base cap for an extra skin barrier where needed and a top vent for temperature control. This device can be used with any conventional cone moxa.
Directions:
- Light moxa cone and place in ceramic well.
- Place top lid on ceramic well. Open air vent completely when installing lid, then adjust afterwards to maintain desired temperature.
- Heat intensity will depend on quality of moxa. If the heat is too intense, or in the case of sensitive skin, apply the bottom cap to the underside of the ceramic well to create an additional barrier.
- Place a tissue or gauze onto patients skin and rest the assembled moxa device on the area to be treated.
- If using larger moxa cones, turn the ceramic well upside down to accomodate the taller size, then follow the same procedure.

This product is not intended for use with loose moxa.
