Warming Soak (Wen Jing Huo Luo Jin Ji) 经活络浸剂

Warming Soak is a traditional Chinese herbal formula used externally to support the body's natural circulation and maintain ease of movement in joints and soft tissues. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, it is commonly applied during later stages of musculoskeletal care, when lingering sensations of heaviness, stiffness, or restricted mobility may persist.

This soak contains warming and dispersing herbs traditionally used to promote the smooth flow of Qi and Blood, support healthy connective tissue, and dispel cold and damp influences. It is often selected when environmental conditions or internal patterns call for additional warmth and activation.

Packaged in a flow-through bag for convenient use.

Ingredients:
Chuan Wu, Cao Wu, Chuan Jiao, Tou Gu Cao, Ai Ye, Cang Zhu, Du Huo, Gui Zhi, Fang Feng, Hong Hua, Shen Jin Cao, Liu Jin Nu

Recommended Dosage:
Place the herb bag in 2–3 gallons of water. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 30 minutes.
Steam the affected area over the vapor as the liquid cools.
Then soak the area in the liquid for 15–20 minutes.
For areas like the back, hips, knees, or shoulders, soak a flannel or towel in the mixture, wring it out, and apply as a compress (replace compresses as they cool).
The mixture can be reused for up to 6 days. Store and reheat as needed.

Optional: For enhanced warming effect, add 1 quart of alcohol (vodka or rice wine) after simmering.

Cautions:
For External Use Only. Do not apply to open skin lesions or wounds.
