Shanghai Shang Shi Zhi Tong Gao Pain Relieving Poultice
6 Poultices in 3 pouches 2.75 in x 3.94 in (7cm x 10 cm)
For temporary relief of minor aches and pains of muscles and joints due to simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises and sprains.
Directions: For adults and children 3 years of age and older. Clean and dry skin. Apply poultice to the affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. Each poultice is effective for 4-5 days. For children under 3 years of age, consult a physician.
Other information: Store at room temperature. For unused poultices, reseal pouch securely.
Active Ingredients:
- Camphor 10% external analgesic

Other Ingredients: Cinnamon, clove extract, drynaria root and stem, fang feng root, fragrant angelica root, frankincense resin, geranium (geranium wilfordii Maxim) stem, leaf and fruit, glycerol ester of rosin gum, gotu kola herb, greater galangal root and stem, kaolin, lanolin, lithopone (mixture of barium sulfate, zinc sulfide, and trace zinc oxide), mineral oil, myrrh, oriental sweet gum (Liquidambar orientalis Mill.), resin, paraffin, perpioca sepium (Perpioca speium bunge) bark, petrolatumschizonepta (schizonepeta tenuifolia(benth.)Briq) stem and leaf, on a rubberized fabric backing covered with a protective paper sheet.
Warnings: For external use only. Do not use on open wounds, irritated or damaged skin. Do not use if pregnant. When using this product, avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes. Do not bandage tightly.
Allergy alert -
This product contains natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:

symptoms clear up and then occur again within a few days

symtoms persist for more than 7 days

condition worsens

excessive irritation of the skin develops

nausea, vomiting, abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, or skin rash occurs.

when using for pain of arthritis if pain persists for more than 10 days, redness is present or in conditions affecting children under 12 years of age.
Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Before applying a powder, gao or liniment, it is advisable to do a skin patch test.
Simply apply the product to one square inch of skin on the forearm and wait 24 hours.
If the next day, the skin has not reacted (rash, itching), then proceed to apply the product. Skin reactions are uncommon, but can occur.
